About The Park
Conveniently located near Kenai River Fishing, hiking trails, Skilak Lake, and kayaking. Moose Crossing is where you can truly take advantage of Alaska’s midnight sun. Conveniently located halfway between Anchorage and Homer, we are the perfect spot to take a break from the road and setup camp for awhile.
All RV sites include FULL HOOKUPS including; individual sewer hooks ups, clean potable drinking water (less common than you would think in Alaska), and 30 Amp service at your site.
Our restrooms are CLEAN, recently updated, and private. Hot showers are always included free of charge to guests. Laundry facilities are onsite for a small fee.
Nearby the campground you can enjoy easy access to a grocery and hardware store. Two propane filling options exist nearby. And the local post office is across the street.
Onsite you have various dining options. Our food truck is ready to serve you and our ice cream / coffee shop, and camp store is ready to please. Enjoy our outdoor dining pavilion or eat at your own site.

The Location
Moose Crossing is only a 7 minute walk from where the Moose River pours into the world famous Kenai River. That means fishing and kayaking at your leisure. Our central location puts you within reach of many great day trips, allowing you to make the most of your time on the Kenai Peninsula.
Cooper Landing is only a 30 minute drive and offers great fishing on the Russian River, and hiking opportunities. It also offers scenic float tours down the Kenai River where you have the chance to view some great wildlife!
The city of Soldotna is the retail hub of the Kenai Peninsula and is just a 15 minute drive. Offering all the amenities you could possibly need including a hospital, multiple grocery options and local shops and restaurants. Soldotna hosts great local outdoor events almost every weekend throughout the summer and the Soldotna Wednesday Market is heralded across the state as one of the greatest weekly outdoor summer markets in Alaska. Featuring live music with an evening beer garden, local artists and as many as 30 food trucks, this event is THE place to be to enjoy Alaska’s midnight sun.

Easy Day Trips
Seward is about a 1.5 hour drive. Here you can board some of Alaska’s most incredible day cruises through the Kenai Fjords National Park or world class ocean fishing charters. It is also a cute town with a central shopping district and the Alaska Sea Life Center. Be sure to checkout Exit Glacier while you are in town.
Just 1.75 hours south is Homer, home to world class halibut fishing, awe inspiring views and one of the grooviest little communities in Alaska. Let adventure be your guide and Moose Crossing, your home away from home.
Onsite Food Trucks
One of the coolest things about our RV park is our onsite food trucks. Featuring two of the Kenai Peninsula’s most popular food trucks. You can enjoy fast casual world cuisine with an Alaskan twist or have a tasty frozen treat from our dessert truck and full espresso service all without leaving the park.
Take advantage of our covered dining pavilion where you can enjoy your meal, mingle with locals and visitors alike, relax with a good book or strike up a card game with new friends. We’ve created a unique place for our local community as well as our park guests to gather and enjoy good food, good vibes and good people in a comfortable outdoor space.
